Good roads and short distances offer an excellent opportunity to explore the beauties of Slovenia by car. Please note that travelling with your own car requires buying a car VIGNETTE for using the highways. The vignette can be bought on the border crossings or at petrol stations all over the country. A one-week vignette can be used for short visits.
In Slovenia it is obligatory to have the day-lights turned on during the day.
